The date sheet of this national level mba entrance exam called Management Aptitude Test (MAT) , standardized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India has been announced. This test will be held both in the online as well as the offline format. The candidates are free to choose the test format depending on their convenience. The forms will be available from today, that is, 11th October, 2013.
The candidates have to fill the application form and submit it before the due date. The last date of filling the offline as well as online application forms is 16th November, 2013 (Saturday) and of submission is 19th November, 2013 (Tuesday) respectively. All the forms will be submitted at AIMA, New Delhi.
The paper based test will be conducted on 1st December, 2013 and the latter from 7th December, 2013 onwards. The basis of the offline test depends on the number of applicants. If it does not exceed the required limitation, then the exam will be held on 1st December itself. The timings of the offline test are 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. However, the online test has different timing, and that too is subjected to change depending on the registration.
All the graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply for this test. In addition, the final year undergraduates can also fill the form.
The applicants can either opt for the online registration from the AIMA website, or attain from the AIMA centers by paying 1200 rupees. You can pay directly at the selling centers or send a demand draft (from any bank) of the same amount “in favor of All India Management Association, Delhi”. The candidates can choose the online payment mode as credit or debit card payment, or fill the demand draft details. Once these steps are completed, you can download your admit card seven days prior to the offline exam.
In accordance with the Supreme Court’s decision taken on February 18, 2013, MAT will remain as the entrance card to enrol in approximate 600 PGDM or Business schools all over India. On the basis of the MAT score card, the MBA aspirants can take admission in these institutes.
