PGCIL invites application for the post of Diploma Trainee (Electrical/Electronics/IT), Junior Officer Trainee (HR). Particularly, 44 vacancies are allotted for these posts in Power Grid and POSCO (Power System Operation Corporation). Eligible Candidates apply online on or before the last date 14th December 2017
POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India and a "Navratna" Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, coordination, supervision and control over complete Inter-State transmission system and operation of National & Regional Power Grids.

PGCIL Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Diploma Trainee (Civil): Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/ST candidates and pass marks for SC/ST candidates
Diploma Trainee (Electrical):Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL) candidates and pass marks for SC/ST candidates
Assistant (Finance): B.Com from a recognized University/College with 1st division and pass marks for SC/ST candidates. Candidates should have one year post qualification experience in Finance & Accounts function of an organisation of repute. Should have experience in processing payment and maintenance of Accounts of the organisation
For Diploma Trainee (Electrical) - Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 27 years for General/ST; 30 years for OBC (NCL); 32 years for SC
For Assistant (Finance): Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 28 years for General/ST; 31 years for OBC (NCL); 33 years for SC/ST
For SC/ST /OBC/PWD/ PH Candidates Relaxation as per on Government Rule Regulation
The Selection process shall be as per the details given below
i. Diploma in Trainee (Civil)
ii. Jr. Officer Trainee (HR): Written Test/Computer Based Test (100 % weightage) & Computer Skill Test (Qualifying in Nature)
1. The Computer Based Test shall be of Objective type (each question shall have four answer options) of two hours duration consisting of two parts:
(a) Part-I consists of Technical/Professional Knowledge Test with 120 questions having specific questions from respective discipline.
(b) Part-II consists of Aptitude Test with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency & interpretation, numerical ability etc.
All questions carry equal marks (1 mark). Wrong & multiple answers would result in negative marks of ¼.
2. Qualifying criteria in Written Test:
Unreserved Vacancies - Minimum of 40% marks subject to at least 30% marks in each Part-I & Part-II separately
Reserved Vacancies -Minimum of 30% marks subject to at least 25% marks in each Part-I & Part-II separately
3. Qualifying Criteria in Computer Skill Test: Computer Skill Test will be qualifying in nature
The Computer Based Test shall be held at the following Test Centres:
ii. Jaipur (Raj)
iii. Noida (UP)
Stipend during training period - Rs.16500/- per month
Basic Pay on Regularisation - Rs.16000/- in the pay-scale of Rs.16000-35500/- (IDA)
Service Agreement Bond - General/OBC (NCL) Candidates: Rs.50000/-, SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Rs.25000/-
For the post of Diploma Trainee (Civil) - Rs.300/- + Bank Charges(Rs.60/-); SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee
