1000 Assistant Recruitment 2015 Notification and Dates for National Insurance

National Insurance Company Ltd. invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of Assistants in Class III cadre from open market.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either:—

A citizen of India, or

A subject of Nepal, or

A subject of Bhutan, or

A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

AGE Limit (as on 30th November, 2014)

Minimum Age: 18 years; Maximum Age: 28 years

Candidates born not earlier than 1st December 1986 and not later than 30th November 1996 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. The upper age limit will be relaxed as under:

SC/ST: 5 years

Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years

PWD (Gen): 10 years

PWD (SC/ST): 15 years

PWD (OBC): 13 years

Resident of Assam State during the period from: 1st January, 1980 to 15th August, 1985

Maximum age shall be: 33 years

Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 1-1-80 to 31-12-

89 Gen: 5 years

OBC: 8 years

SC/ST: 10 years

Ex-Serviceman, Disabled Ex-Serviceman: The maximum age may be enhanced by the number of years of service put in by the candidates in the Armed Forces plus 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum age limit of: 50 years.

Displaced persons from East Pakistan who have migrated to India on or after 1.1.1964 Maximum age shall be: 33 years.

Existing Employees of the Company: 5 years

Educational Qualifications:

Graduate from a recognized University OR Pass in HSC/Equivalent (XII pass) examination with 60% marks (50% for Ex-servicemen, SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities); and the candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level; and Knowledge of Regional Language i.e. Language of the State of Recruitment is essential.

Proficiency in the Regional Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/write and speak the Regional Language of the State/UT), for whose vacancies a candidate wishes to apply, is preferable. (Some questions may be put at the time of interview to ascertain the candidate‘s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State/UT)

Important Points to Be Noted Before Registration

Before applying online, candidates should

Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given under Guideline for photograph & signature scan and upload.

Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process.

Company may send call letters for the Interview etc. through the registered e-mail ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID and mobile no. before applying on-line and must maintain that email account and mobile number.

Application Procedure

Candidates have to go to the Company’s website www.nationalinsuranceindia.com and click on the option "APPLY ONLINE" which will open a new screen.

To register application, choose the tab "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.

A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.

In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the "SAVE AND NEXT" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct, prior to final submission.
Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” BUTTON.

The Name of the candidate and his/her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.

Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the 'VALIDATE YOUR DETAILS' and 'SAVE & NEXT' button.

Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point "C" given below.
Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.

Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before “FINAL SUBMIT”.
Modify details, if required, and click on 'FINAL SUBMIT' only after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.

Click on 'PAYMENT' Tab and proceed for payment.

Click on 'SUBMIT' button.
