UPSC Recruitment 2018 for Multiple Posts – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has once again released a recruitment notification for the positions of Instrumentation Engineer, Anaesthetist, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Joint Director and Project Manager.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions on or before 02nd August 2018

  • Project Manager (Technical) – 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship

  • A Candidate must be either: (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
  • Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India

Educational Qualifications

  1. One Instrumentation Engineer, Farm Machinery Training & Testing Institute
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognised university or institution; 3-years’ experience in handling independently installation, calibration and maintenance of electronics and electrical instruments for automatic measurement and controls, experience in handling strain gauge, sound and vibration equipment etc. from Central Govt. or state governments or union territory administrations or public sector undertakings or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or councils or semi-government or autonomous or statutory organisations
  • OR
  • Masters’ degree in Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognised university or institute;
  • One-year experience in handling independently installation, calibration and maintenance of electronics and electrical instruments for automatic measurement and controls, experience in handling strain gauge, sound and vibration equipment, etc., from Central Govt. or state governments or union territory administrations or public sector undertakings or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or Councils or semi-Govt. or autonomous or statutory organisations

Desirable

  • One-year experience in instrumentation for testing of IC Engines and exhaust emission measurement system

Age Limit

  • 35 years

Pay Scale

  • Level 10 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted Non-Ministerial
  1. One Anaesthetist (Family Welfare), Family Welfare Organization
  • A recognized Medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • Holders of the Medical Qualifications included in the Part-II of the Third Schedule to the said Act should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • Completion of Compulsory rotating internship; Post Graduate Medical Qualification in Anaesthesia or; One-year experience in Anaesthesia in case of Post Graduate Degree holder and three years in case of Post Graduate Diploma holder
  • NOTE-I: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified
  • NOTE-II: The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST or if at any stage of selection, the UPSC is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience is not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them

Age Limit

Pay Scale

  • Level 10 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted Non-Ministerial
  1. One Assistant Professor (Paediatrics), Armed Forces Medical College (DGAFMS)
  • (i) A degree of Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) from any recognized University or Medical Institution in India. OR (ii) Post graduate degree qualifications in Paediatrics viz. M.D., MRCP, FRCP (Canada) or MD (Paediatrics) (USA) with complete and entire requirements of the Board concerned (iii) At least three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/ Demonstrator in the concerned speciality in the Medical College/Teaching Institution
  • NOTE-I: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC in case of candidates otherwise well qualified
  • NOTE-II: The qualifications regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST if, at any stage of selection, the UPSC is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them
  • NOTE-III: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India

Age Limit

  • 45 years

Pay Scale

  • Level 11 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted Non-Ministerial
  1. Six Lecturer (Pharmacy)
  • (i) Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with 1st class, or (ii) Master’s degree in Pharmacy with 1st class or grade points more than 6.75 under CGPA (iii) Registration as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948

Experience

  • Three years teaching and professional experience for Bachelors and one year for Masters Qualification
  • NOTE-I: Qualification should be acquired through regular programmes and not through distance education. NOTE-II: If a class/division is not awarded, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division

Age Limit

  • 35 years

Pay Scale

  • Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 5400/- (Grade Pay) + @ DA as applicable (Pre-revised). General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted Non-Ministerial

 

  1. Two Joint Director (Fisheries)
  • Masters Degree in Fisheries Science from a recognized University or; M.Sc. in Zoology/Marine Biology with specialization in Fisheries from a recognized University

Experience

  • Five years experience in field of Inland and Marine Fisheries Development. DESIRABLE: Ph.D. with specialization in Fisheries
  • NOTE: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified

Age Limit

  • 40 years

Pay Scale

  • Level-11 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted Non-Ministerial
  1. One Project Manager (Technical), District Industries Centre
  • B.E./B. Tech. in information Technology or in Electronics & Communication Engineering or in Computer Science Engineering from a recognized University /Institute. OR Bachelor of Computer application from a recognized University or Institute or;
  • M.E./M. Tech. in Information Technology or in Electronics & Communication Engineering or in Computer Science Engineering from a recognized University/Institute

Experience

  • For BE/B. Tech. is three years experience in any Govt. Dept. /Autonomous /Statutory bodies/ Financial Institutions/PSUs/Corporate bodies or in any private organization listed on the Stock Exchange of India in promotion and development of Micro & Small Enterprises in the sector of Information Technology by way of providing Technical Guidance Training Credit Advisory and other support services to the Entrepreneurs
  • For M.E./M.Tech. is one year experience in any Government

Age Limit

  • 35 years

Application Fee

  • Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net bankingfacility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card
  • No Fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee
  • Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained

  • Closing Date for Submission of Online Recruitment Application (ORA) through ORA website is 23:59 Hrs. on 02nd August 2018
