Application Process for SBI PO 2019 Recruitment begins

SBI PO 2019 Application – State Bank of India has released the notification for recruitment of 2000 Probationary Officers (Pos) for its branches all over India. The application process for the same had also begun on its official website. All those candidates interested to apply for SBI Probationary officers post can do so through the official website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/career.

The application fee of Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD category and Rs. 600/- for General, OBC category is to be paid by the candidates. The last date to submit the application for SBI PO 2019 is April 22, 2019.

 

Candidates with Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for SBI PO 2019 posts.

The selection for SBI Probationary Officers 2019 will be three tiered process:

 

  • Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections – English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The Preliminary Examination will be held on June 1st, 08th, 09th,15th & 16th, 2019.
  • Phase-II: Main Examination: Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer the Descriptive Test by typing on the computer. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after completion of the Objective Test. Main Examination is scheduled to be held on July 20th, 2019.

 

  • Final Selection: Only the marks obtained in Main Exam (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in GE & Interview (Phase-III) for preparing the final merit list.
