School Education Department, Andhra Pradesh announces  DEECET 2019 for D.EI.Ed Course Admission 2019

AP DEECET 2019 Notification - Government of Andhra Pradesh (School Education Department) has issued the notification for Andhra Pradesh Hyderabad DEECET (AP DEECET) 2019 for admission into D.EI.Ed Courses in all Government DIETs and Category 'A' and 'B' seats of Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions. It is conducted for the candidates who wish to get admission in the Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) - 2 years Course offered by Govt. DIET and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions across the state of Andhra Pradesh.

 

AP DEECET 2019

  • The registration for AP DEECET 2019 has been started. Candidates who wish to get admission in the 13 District DIETs Colleges and Private Teacher Training Institutions need to register for the examination to appear in the AP DEECET 2019 entrance exam
  • Candidates will be granted admission on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam

Important Dates for AP DEECET 2019

  • Download of DEECET 2019 Information Bulletin 03rd April 2019
  • Payment of Fees through Payment gateway 03rd April to 21st April 2019
  • Online Submission of Application through with payment of fee: 04th April 2019 to 22nd April 2019
  • Last date for payment of application fee through online: 21st April 2019
  • Download of Hall Tickets: 10th May 2019
  • Schedule of Exam: 18th May 2019
  • First counseling: 25th May to 10th June 2019
  • Second phase of counseling: 20th June to 25th June 2019
  • Special Counseling: 28th June to 29th June 2019
  • First instruction day: 01st July 2019

 

Eligibility Criteria for AP DEECET 2019

The eligibility criteria for admission into D.El.Ed. Course shall be as mentioned below:

  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality and should satisfy the Local/Nonlocal status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended from time to time for admission into all seats in Govt. DIETS and unaided Non-Minority and Minority Elementary Teacher Training Institutions
  • Candidates should have secured a rank in DEECET-2019 conducted for the Academic Year concerned for admission into Govt. DIETs & Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions and should satisfy the educational criteria prescribed for the course as shown at (iii) below
  • For obtaining a DEECET rank, candidate belonging to "OC"&"BC" communities shall secure minimum 50%marks in DEECET
  • For SC/ST & Physically Challenged Candidates the minimum qualifying mark for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories will be 45%
  • That is to say candidates belonging to SC/ST communities should secure 50% of marks for consideration against seats under OC/NCC / CAP /Sports category

Educational Qualifications

  • For seats in all Govt. DIETs &Category ‘A’ & ‘B’ seats of Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions
  • Candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Exam (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the DEECET Committee for appearing at the DEECET
  • However, he/she should have passed the qualifying exam at the time of admission

Age Limit

  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1 September of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed Course
  • Minority status of the students shall be decided as mentioned at rule

AP DEECET 2019 Admission Process

  • The General guidelines for admission of the candidates into Elementary Teacher Training Institutions offering D.El.Ed Course shall be as follows
  • The admissions into all Govt. DIETs &Category 'A' seats of the Private Unaided Elementary Teacher Training Institutions shall be made through a Single Window System in the order of merit on the basis of rank assigned in DEECET and to the extent of sanctioned seats through Web Based Admission service provided by the Convener DEECET or Convener DEECET AC as the case may be
  • All the 20%, category ‘B’ seats of unaided non minority and Minority Elementary Teacher Training Institutions shall be filled by the respective institutions
  • Subject wise allotment of seats for admission into D.El.Ed. Course
  • Mathematics - 25% of seats
  • Physical Science - 25% of seats
  • Biological Science - 25% of seats
  • Social Studies - 25% of seats

Issue of Hall Tickets

  • Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at https://cse.ap.gov.in https://apdeecet.apcfss.in from 06th May 2019
  • In case any candidate could not download the Hall ticket she/he should contact the HelpLine Phone No.: 9347007754 O/o Convener DEECET,Mangalagiri between 10.30 AM and 5.00 PM on all working days only giving details of the journal number of the fee paid, reference number of the application submitted

Fee Details

  • The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of exams Rs.500/-Candidates shall pay the fee through Payment Gateway From 03 April 2019 to 21 April 2019 and submit online application at the DEECET website https://cse.ap.gov.in &https://apdeecet.apcfss.in from 03 April 2019 to 21 April 2019

AP DEECET 2019 Application Process

  • Candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the DEECET website https://cse.ap.gov.in &https://apdeecet.apcfss.in and go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for DEECET 2019
  • Candidate after satisfying herself/himself about the eligibility criteria for DEECET shall pay a fee of Rs.500/- through Payment Gateway from 03 April 2019 to 21 April 2019 for submission of application through Online
  • On receipt of fee at ONLINE the candidate shall be issued a ‘Journal Number’ with which she/he can proceed with submission of application through online. Issue of Journal Number does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online
  • It is only a confirmation of the fee received
