Srishti School of Arts Design and Technology conducted SEAT 2017 for admission to different programmes with different duration of study for students at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level.

After Srishti School of Arts Design and Technology Application Form filling and submission by the students, Srishti Entrance Test 2017 will be conducted

SEAT 2017

Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology conducts SEAT exam in order to shortlist candidates for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes on offer by the college

Each of the rounds in SEAT 2017 exam is expected to have different question papers. However, each of the SEAT question papers will have the same number of questions, same marking scheme (total marks) as well as identical difficulty level

SEAT score is valid for admission only for one academic year. Thus, SEAT 2017 score will be valid only for the 2017-2018 academic session.

Programmes & Eligibility Details

1) 3-years Technical Diploma Programme in (offered in other cities*):

Srishti is proud to announce Technical Diploma Program (TDP) in Digital Filmmaking, Furniture Design, Graphic Design and Interior Design

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants should have successfully completed 12th grade

Admission Process: A candidate must successfully complete the Technical Diploma admissions process that comprises of an entrance test, a portfolio review & interview
A portfolio should include 10-15 original creative works and/or evidence of work experience in a related field; the portfolio may include works in any medium of preference of the candidate applying to the program

2) 4-years Professional Diploma Program in Art and Design (offered in Bangalore):

The 4-year Undergraduate Professional Diploma Programme is committed to training students in the various fields of art and design with a focus on cross-disciplinary education

The programme exposes students to an exploratory and creative learning process with a focus on experiential learning

Students are provided with context-based learning in real world and complex scenarios that will hone both their technical and conceptual skills in the following areas:

Communication (Visual Communication, Interface and Interaction); Media & Entertainment (Animation & Visual Effects, Digital Video Production); Industrial (Products, Services & Systems, Furniture & Spatial Design, Textile, Apparel and Accessories); Arts (Media Practice, Art & Science)

Eligibility: Applicants should have successfully completed 12th grade

Admission Process: A candidate must successfully complete the Professional Diploma admission process that comprises of an entrance test, a portfolio review & interview

A portfolio should include 10-15 original creative works and/or evidence of work experience in a related field; the portfolio may include works in any medium of preference of the candidate applying to the program

Students who wish to transfer to Srishti from another college or university will be considered in light of their personal circumstances and the availability of space in the program

3) Postgraduate Diploma Programme:

Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, offers 2-year Postgraduate Diplomas in Design, Fine Arts and New Humanities

The program is meant for practitioners who want to grow, develop and extend their practice and fresh graduates who are seeking to add a professional, practical and creative dimension to their existing degrees or qualifications

Postgraduate Diploma in Design: Students may pick any of the following pathways:

1. 3-Dimensional Design

2. Visual Communication Design

3. Advertising and Branding

4. User Experience and Interaction Design

5. Design led Innovation

Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Arts: This program offers an engagement with cutting edge contemporary art and creative practices. With a wide array of practitioners in art, theory and history as faculty, the program offers a comprehensive advisory mentorship for students to develop a well-defined art and creative practice. Students can pick any of the following pathways:

1 Contemporary art practice (includes media art practices)

2 Animation and Visual effects

3. Curatorial practice

4. Art Management

5. Performance art and Choreography

6. Scenography and exhibition design

7. Botanical Art

Postgraduate Diploma in New Humanities: This programme seeks to provide intellectual resources for young minds to engage with the complexities of a fully globalised culture. Intensive theoretical courses will be complemented with exposure to methodologies of a wide range including oral history, ethnography and digital humanities. Students may pick any of the following pathways:

1. Public History and Heritage Interpretation

2. Network Cultures

3. Aesthetics and Criticism

4. Cultural Studies

5. Museum and Gallery Practices

6. Urban Studies and Conservation

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree/diploma. Applicants to the Dual Diploma, (for more details see the website)

In order to be eligible to apply for a Dual Diploma, students need to meet the following requirements:

i. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

ii. An accumulated total of 70 UG (undergraduate) level credits (excluding the Foundation year) at the end of their 3rd year

iii. An internship experience of a minimum of 6 credits

iv. Not be on academic probation at the time of application into the Dual Diploma Program

All applicants are expected to have a portfolio of work that includes a writing sample

Admission Process: A candidate must successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma Program Admissions Process that comprises of an entrance examination, portfolio review & interview. The Bridge Program facilitates students who have no previous experience or education in art and design to apply into Srishti 2-year Postgraduate Diploma Programme in Design, Fine Arts and New Humanities

4. Continuing Professional Education - MBA Degree/Diploma:

Dual MBA/Diploma Programme - Global Business and Sustainability: Social Entreprepeurship track Business Design for Impact Enterprises

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must be strongly oriented to being an entrepreneur. Specifically, prospective applicants must have:

a) A feasible business idea (start-up or existing, profit or non-profit) with strong social/environmental impact;

b) A three-year University degree;

c) English Proficiency;

d) Computer and internet literacy;

e) Regular access to IT resources

An entrance exam is not required, but Candidates with GMAT or GRE test would receive added consideration in the selection process

Candidates with no Bachelor Degree but extensive business experience and a strong business idea, may be admitted to the MBA under exceptional circumstance. In such a case, the participant will not be awarded Masters Degree , but a certificate of attendance that under no circumstance will it be considered an academic degree

Candidates with an undergraduate degree that is not recognised by the Italian or EU University system or deemed to have equivalence will be awarded a diploma

Exam Centers

SEAT 2017 is scheduled to be conducted in a total of 10 cities across India. SEAT 2017 exam centres are Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Trivandrum

Apart from this, the centres for portfolio review and interview round for Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology admissions 2017 are not out yet

Candidates need to download SEAT 2017 application form from the official website of Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Once aspirants fill the application form for SEAT exam, they need to send it at the below mentioned address:

Step 2: Download SEAT Admit Card
After candidates have successfully posted/sent their SEAT application form for Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology admissions 2017, the authorities at the college verify the documents and eligibility of each candidate. Once this process is complete SEAT 2017 admit card/hall ticket is send to the aspirant’s registered email ID
Candidates need to carry this admit card for SEAT exam along with their ID card to their exam centre on the day of SEAT test
