About the NOU

The North Orissa University (NOU) was established by the Govt. of Orissa, under the Section 32 of the Odisha University Act, 1989 vide notification. It was carved out of the Utkal University and became operational since 1999 at Takatpur (98.84 acres) of Baripada in the Mayurbhanj District of Odisha as an affiliating University

Eligibility Criteria for North Orissa University Integrated BEd MEd Admission 2020

  • Candidates with Post Graduation degree in Science / Social Sciences/ Humanities from a recognised institution with a minimum 55% of marks or equivalent grade

North Orissa University Integrated BEd MEd Admission 2020 Application Process

  • Candidates are required to fill the online application form on the official website www.nou.nic.in
  • Please read the instructions carefully given in the information brochure before filling up the online Application form.

Application Fee

  • Candidates should pay Rs.500/- through online.

Selection Procedure

  • Selection of candidates for admission shall be made on the basis of their Academic career and performance in the Entrance Test.
  • Entrance Examination consists 75 objective questions (50 multiple choice questions with 01(one) mark each
  • The remaining 25 questions will be of short answer type(fill in the blanks/True or false/match the columns/one word answer type) each carrying 02 (two) marks based on Teaching Aptitude and Basic General Knowledge on Science/Arts & Humanities
  • Candidate should secure a minimum of 30% marks in the Entrance Test in order to be eligible for selection for admission
  • The duration of the written test will be 90 minutes
