Gautam Buddha University (“GBU”) is a government university located in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar district. Uttar Pradesh, India.It is one of Uttar Pradesh’s State Govt. University which commenced its first academic session in the year 2008

University campus is spread over 511 acres in Greater Noida(Delhi-NCR) and offers Bachelors,Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Biotechnology and Buddhist Studies and is mainly focused on Research

(BBM + MBA), (BA Hons + MA in Buddhist Studies & Civilization)

B.Arch (Five Years Degree in Architecture)

BA LLB (Five Year Integrated Programme)

Two years Post Graduate Programme: MBA, M. Tech. (Environment Engineering, Structural Engineering, Power System Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Embedded System, Food Processing and Technology, Bio Technology), Masters in Urban and Regional Planning

M.Sc (Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Environment Science, Food Science)

M.A. (Hindi, Urdu, English, Sociology, History & Civilization, Economics Planning & Development, Political Science & International Relations, Applied Psychology, Buddhist Studies & Civilization)

MSW (Master in Social Work), MMC (Master in Mass Communication)

M. Phil (Clinical/Rehabilitation Psychology, Buddhist Studies and Civilization)

Three Years Post Graduate Programme: M.Tech (Biotech) for Science Graduate

Ph.D (Full Time / Working Professional): School of Bio Technology, School of Buddhist Studies & Civilization, School of Management, School of Vocational Studies & Applied Sciences

Eligibility:

Integrated Dual Degree Programme B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA: 10+2 with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST)

Candidates appearing in the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can also apply

Candidates must passed separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 40% marks

Bachelor in Architecture (B. Arch): Candidates must fulfill above mentioned eligibility criteria along with NATA score securing minimum 40% marks

Integrated Dual Degree Programme (BBM and MBA): 10+2 in any stream securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST)

Candidates appearing in the 10+2 can also apply

Integrated Dual Degree Programme (B.Tech, M. Tech / MBA) in Food Processing and Technology: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST)

Candidates appearing in the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics can also apply

Candidates must passed separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology with minimum 40% marks

Master in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP): B. Arch / B.E or B.Tech in Civil Engineering From any recognized University / College with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Tech in Environment Engg and M.Tech in Structural Engg: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, M.Sc in Environment Sciences from any recognized University / College with minimum 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Tech in Power System Engg: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, from any recognized University / College with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Tech in Bio Technology (Three Years programmes for Science Graduates): Graduates in any discipline of life science, from any University/college established by law, with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Tech in Bio Technology (Two Years programmes for Engineering Graduates): B.Tech degree in Bio Technology or any area of Bio Technology or M.Sc (Life Science) from any recognized University / College with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M. Tech for Engineering Graduates (Software Engineering, Intelligent System and Robotics / Wireless Communication and Networks / VLSI Design): BE / B.Tech Degree in Computer Science / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Technology, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics Science or M.Sc (Electronics / Computer Science/Computer Technology) or MCA from any recognized University college with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Tech in Computer Science: B.E./B.Tech Degree in Computer Science / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Technology / or M.Sc (Computer Science and Computer Technology) MCA from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Tech in Embedded System: B.E./B.Tech Degree in Electronics Science / Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology or M.Sc (Electronics) from any recognized University / College with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

MBA: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized college/University with securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade.

M.Tech Food Processing and Technology: B.Tech Degree in Food Processing Technology/Food Engineering/Dairy Engineering, Agriculture Engineering Bio Technology, Bio Chemical Engineering. Or M.Sc (Food Science/Life Science) from recognized college/University with securing minimum 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Sc Applied Chemistry: Bachelor’s degree with chemistry as one of the subjects for three years/six semester from a recognized college/University with securing minimum 505 marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Sc Applied Physics: Bachelor’s degree with physics as one of the subjects for three years/six semester from a recognized college/university with securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade.

M.Sc Applied Mathematics: Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects for three years / six semester from a recognized college / university with securing minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Sc Environmental Science: Graduation in Science discipline from a recognized college / university with securing minimum 50% marks (40% SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Sc Food Science: Graduation in Food Science/Food and Nutrition/Home Science/Agricultural Engineering from recognized college/university with securing minimum 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST) or equivalent grade.

MA (Buddhist Studies and Civilization): Graduate in any discipline from a recognized college / university with minimum 45% marks (for general and OBC) and 40% marks (For SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M.Phil (Buddhist Studies and Civilization): Minimum qualification MA from a recognized University / college with 55% marks (for SC/ST) or equivalent grade in any relevant subject.

Preference will be given to post graduate students of Buddhist Studies, History, Pali, Sanskrit and Philosophy or equivalent grade.

MA (Applied Psychology, Economics, Planning and Development, English, Hindi, History and Civilization, Political Science and International Relations, Sociology, Urdu, Mass Communication, Master in Social Work): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized college/university with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

M. Phil in clinical / Rehabilitation Psychology: Post Graduate in Psychology from a recognized college/university with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

Application Fee may be submitted through credit card/debit card/Net Banking/ Demand Draft

Candidates must send the printed copy of the filled online application form along with the related documents and Demand Drafts (if applicable) to The Chairman Admissions, Gautam Buddha University, Near Yamuna Express Way, Greater Noida, Distt-Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh-201312

OMR application form with admission brochure can be obtained from University Counter by paying in Demand Draft paying in favor of “Chairman, Admission Gautam Buddha University” payable at New Delhi of Rs 1200/- (Rs 600/- for SC/ST candidates)

Outstation candidates may obtain OMR application forms by post after paying Demand Drafts drawn in favor of “Chairman, Admission Gautam Buddha University” payable at New Delhi of Rs 1250/- (Rs 650/- for SC/ST candidates)
