| TDA is a joint academic venture of Sir RatanTata Trust and DHAN Foundation. It is a pioneer institute in Development Management Education, Training and Research. Its mission is to groom young graduates as Development Professionals to take up challenging careers in development to work with disadvantaged communities.
About PDM
PDM is a two-year residential programme with a unique mix of theory and practice. It equips the students with appropriate managerial techniques to deal with complex issues of development. This helps in effecting development programmes at various levels. The faculty are development practitioners with rich field experience.
Eligibility
Graduates or postgraduates in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent).Those completing their courses on 30 June 2007 can apply. Age: Below 26 years on June 30, 2007. Those working in development organisations are encouraged to apply.
Fellowship
Full fellowship is given to those who agree to serve designated organisations for three years after completion of PDM. The fellowship covers all fees, course materials, board and lodging.
Campus Placement
TDA facilitates placement of its students, known for their competence and quality, in designated development organisations .
Selection
Selection will be through Development Management Admission Test (DMAT) to be held at important cities on 18 February 2007. Shortlisted candidates will be called for final selection in April - May 2007.
