Admission to the two – year Full Time Management Courses viz. MBA, MBA (IB) and MBA (HR) Commencing July 2007

ELIGIBILTIY:
A recognize Three Year Bachelor’s/Post – Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in the aggregate or a pass in the final examination conducted by ICAI/ICWI/ICSI or AMIE with 50% marks. (See UBS Handbook of Information 2007). Candidates appearing in Final Degree Examination are eligible to apply and can take the test provisionally. Reservations as per approved norms of Punjab University . Concession of 5% marks in the eligibility requirements of SC/ST candidates.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
- TAKE COMMON ADMISSION TEST (CAT 2006) TO BE CONDUCTED BY IIMs on November 19 th 2006 (Sunday) . See CAT advertisement in leading newspapers of July 16, 2006 for details. NO SEPARATE ENTRANCE TEST will be conduced by UBS or Punjab University for the said MBA programmes.
- APPLY SEPARATELY TO UBS . APPLICATION FORM and HANDBOOK OR INFORMATION 2007 will be available at State Bank of India Counter, Punjab University , Chandigarh on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates), from September 18, to November 17, 2006. Forms can also be obtained by Post up to October 31, 2006 from The Manager, Publication Bureau, Punjab University , Chandigarh by enclosing a crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 1075/- (Rs. 575/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar, Punjab University, Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh and a self addressed envelope (30*25cms). Application form can also be downloaded form our web site: www.ubschandgiarh.organd submitted a DD for Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar, Punjab University , Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh . COMPLETED FORMS SHOULD REACH CHAIRMAN, UNIVERISTY BUSINESS SCHOOL , PUNJAB UNIVERISTY, CHANDIGAHR – 160014 BY 5.00 P.M. ON 17 th NOV. 2006 Positively.
- Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores will have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Details of Selection Process are available in UBS Handbook of information 2007.
