Admission Notification 2007-2009 for MBA - International Business

Important Dates       
   
 1. Last Date for Sale of Prospectus by post:    21st August 2006  
 2. Last date for Sale of Prospectus across the counter at IIFT:         4th September 2006  
 3.Last Date for Receipt of completed Applications: 4th September 2006  
 4.Written Test: 26th November 2006   (10 am–12 noon)
 
 
Admission For General/SC/ST/PH category:   
 
1.  On the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview.
 
2. Written Test on Sunday, November 26, 2006 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore  Bhubaneshwar , Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur,  Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.  

3 Based on marks for written test, candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview  to be held during February/March at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad,Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai

For Foreign/NRI/Children of NRI category:

1. On the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).
2. GMAT result should not have been declared before January 1, 2005 and should be received by the Institute latest by March 31, 2007

Eligibility: Recognized bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years' duration in any discipline. Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subjects to submission of proof of requisite qualification by 7 October 2007.

Pattern of Admission Test
The admission test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English). Duration of the test is two hours. It will cover English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and and Quantitative Analysis.

THERE WILL BE NEGATIVE MARKING FOR WRONG ANSWERS.

By cash/personally: The prospectus and application form may be obtained on all working days between 10 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. on payment of Rs.1200/- (Rs.600/- for SC/ST/PH candidates and Rs.2500/- for Foreign/NRI/Children of NRI) in cash personally from

By Post: The prospectus and application form may be obtained by post from IIFT Delhi Centre only by sending a request accompanied by demand draft/pay order of Rs. 1300/- favouring Indian Institute of Foreign Trade payable at New Delhi (Rs.700/- for SC/ST/PH candidates and US$ 75 or Rs.3000/-

for Foreign/NRI/Children of NRI) and two self-addressed (with Tel. No.) adhesive stickers.

SC/ST/PH candidates to attach requisite certificate also.
