ADMISION TO MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES 2007
MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
IGNOU invites application for the following Degree/ Diploma Programme in Management:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Diploma in Management (DIM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGSEM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
All the above programmes have multi-media design, using technology aided delivery system. These are offered thorough countrywide network of study centers. The University will be admitting the students for the above degree/diplomas in Management starting from January 2008 and July 2008 through an Entrance Test ‘OPENMAT-XXII’ to be held on Sunday, the August 19,2007 all over the country.
Eligibility for Admission:
Bachelor’s Degree +3 Years’ Supervisory/ Managerial/Professional experience*OR Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/Law, etc. OR Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/Cost & Work Accountancy / Company Secretary ship etc. OR Master’s Degree in any subject. (The University may consider other degress in this list of equivalent professional degree/qualification, if required.)
Note: Non- Graduates with 6 years’ Supervisory/Managerial/Professional experience* are eligible to apply for DIM only. The Candidates who have completed 10+2 or its equivalent qualification will be treated as Non-Graduates.
*Experience means work experience during or after acquiring the qualification as specified. Work experience requirement of 3/6 years should be fulfilled as on 31 st October, 2007 for January2008 and 30 th April, 2008 for July, 2008 session.
There is no age bar for any of the Programmes.
Filled in form for Entrance Test ‘OPENMAT-XXII’ must reach, the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068, by Registered Post/Speed Post on or Before 30 th June 2007 .
How to Apply
‘Student Handbook & Prospectus for Management Programme Programme-2008’, can be obtained from the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 and from all the regional Centers of IGNOU whose addresses are given below by sending a sum of Rs.550/- through a Demand Draft /IPO in favour of IGNOU Payable at new Delhi/city of concerned Regional Centre or by paying Rs.500/- in Cash at the respective sale counters. Please write your name and address on the back of the DD/IPO. Last date for request for ‘PROSPECTUS’ by post in 30 th June,2007
Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded form the website: www.ignou.ac.in and sent along with a DD/IPO for Rs.550/- in favour of IGNOU payable New Delhi in code of Management Programme, and concerned Regional Centre in case of Bachelor of Education Programme by Registered/Speed post to:

Prospectus will be sent to such applicants after receipt of Rs. 550/- as explained above.
