IGNOU OPENTMAT XXIII -2008 Important Dates and ADMISION Info
MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
IGNOU invites application for the following Degree/ Diploma Programme in Management:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Diploma in Management (DIM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGSEM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
All the above programmes have multi-media design, using technology aided delivery system. These are offered thorough countrywide network of study centers. The University will be admitting the students for the above degree/diplomas in Management starting from January 2008 and July 2008 through an Entrance Test ‘OPENMAT-XXIII’ to be held on Sunday, the February 3,2008 all over the country.

IGNOU OPENMAT 2008 (February 3, 2008) Notification will be announced in October 2007.

Eligibility for Admission:
Bachelor’s Degree +3 Years’ Supervisory/ Managerial/Professional experience*OR Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/Law, etc. OR Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/Cost & Work Accountancy / Company Secretary ship etc. OR Master’s Degree in any subject. (The University may consider other degress in this list of equivalent professional degree/qualification, if required.)
Note: Non- Graduates with 6 years’ Supervisory/Managerial/Professional experience* are eligible to apply for DIM only. The Candidates who have completed 10+2 or its equivalent qualification will be treated as Non-Graduates.
There is no age bar for any of the Programmes.
Filled in form for Entrance Test ‘OPENMAT-XXIII’ must reach, the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068, by Registered Post/Speed Post on or Before 30 th November 2007 .
How to Apply
‘Student Handbook & Prospectus for Management Programme Programme-2008’, can be obtained from the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 and from all the regional Centers of IGNOU whose addresses are given below by sending a sum of Rs.550/- through a Demand Draft /IPO in favour of IGNOU Payable at new Delhi/city of concerned Regional Centre or by paying Rs.500/- in Cash at the respective sale counters. Please write your name and address on the back of the DD/IPO. Last date for request for ‘PROSPECTUS’ by post in 30 th June,2007
Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded form the website: www.ignou.ac.in and sent along with a DD/IPO for Rs.550/- in favour of IGNOU payable New Delhi in code of Management Programme, and concerned Regional Centre in case of Bachelor of Education Programme by Registered/Speed post to:

Prospectus will be sent to such applicants after receipt of Rs. 550/- as explained above.
