

Army Institute of Management, Kolkata (AIMK) was established in July 1997 by the Indian Army under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi and has emerged as one of the Brightest B-Schools in India.
Eligibility : Minimum eligibility criterion for admission to MBA is Bachelor’s Degree with
50% Marks in aggregate in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
Candidates completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s Degree by June 2007 may also
apply. Out of a batch size of 90 (likely to be increased to 120), 80% seats are reserved for Army wards
and 20% seats for General candidates.
Selection : Applicant shall have to appear in Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs on November 19 , 2006. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at AIM Kolkata for final selection. (NOTE :AIMK uses CAT score for short listing the candidates for two-year full time Post-graduate Programme in Management. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.)
Placement :Institute provides placement assistance to all the candidates
through Campus Interviews.
