How to take the Test Computer Based Test(CBT)
COMPUTER BASED TEST :
Test Date 23rd September, 2012 (Sunday).
Test Timing : In different Time slots at specific test venues; subject to number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test.
Test Centre City :
  • Test Centre City list is provided in the Registration Form.
  • Computer Based Test will take place on 23rd September, 2012, Sunday in different time slots.
  • One candidate can appear only for one domain.
Admit Card :
  • All provisionally registered candidates can download their Admit Card from AIMA websitelink: www.aima-ind.org/MAST2012Sep 15 days before the Computer Based test date i.e., with effect from 08th September, 2012, 1400 hours. Admit Card would be having Candidate Name,Photograph, Registration No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them.
  • Candidates accessing the website the earliest can choose the Time of his/her choice subject to availability. Those who have not opted the  time slot for 4-5 days will be automatically allotted time slot by the system. No request for change of  time slot can be entertained.

Q.1: What are the Qualifications & percentage needed for appearing in the MAST?
A.1: The minimum qualification for appearing in MAST is MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree/diploma in management from a recognized University/Institute. The candidates who have passed on or after 2009 are only eligible. A final year student can also appear provisionally. There is no minimum percentage requirement for taking the test.

Q.2: What is the mandatory qualifying course duration?
A.2: MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree/diploma in management from a recognized University/Institute should be 2 year Full Time or 3 year Part Time or 3 year Distance Learning Programme. The courses/Programmes having duration less than 2 year are not eligible.

Q.3: What is MAST Online Registration No.?
A.3: MAST Online Registration No is an auto-generated Registration Number allotted to the candidate on successful submission of online registration form and will appear on print version of the Registration Form.

This number is used for:
1 : Downloading of the candidates admit card
2 : Reprint of candidates registration form
3 : All future correspondences.

Q.4: What is the mode of test?
A.4: MAST is conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) only.

Q.5: What are the test dates and timings of the test?
A.5: The CBT is being scheduled on 23rd September, 2012 (Sunday) in different time slots.

Q.6: What is the cost of the taking the test?
A.6: The cost of the test is Rs. 1750/-. Candidates applying on or before 15th December 2011 can register by paying Rs.1250/- instead of Rs.1750/-

Q.7: What is the mode of payment and Registration?
A. 7: Candidate can register online at www.aima-ind.org along with the Demand Draft of Rs.1750/- in favour of "All India Management Association"  Payable at New Delhi from any Bank. Candidate must have the Demand Draft / Credit Card ready before filling up the Registration Form.

Q.8: What will happen in case of any payment error due to website connectivity?
A 8: Due to any network communication/connectivity problems, if your application form does not get materialize and the amount of Rs.1750/- has been debited from your account, the same will be refunded back to your account after the reconciliation with Bank and declaration of the MAST result. In Such cases candidates are advised to register again.

Q.9 : What is the validity of MAST score?
A.9 : Validity of the MAST score is for one year.

Q.10 : Do we get a separate Admit Card for appearing in MAST?
A.10 : All provisionally registered candidates can down load their Admit Card from AIMA website link: http://aima-ind.org/mast2012Sep fifteen days before the date of test i.e. 23rd September, 2012 (Sunday). No separate special card is issued. Also, activation of a test centre depends upon the minimum no. of registration.

Q.11 : Is there any age bar for it? Any Job experience required to appear in MAST?
A.11 : There is no age bar. Job experience is not necessary.

Q.12 : What is the nature of MAST test?
A.12 : It is an objective type test with multiple-choice answers.
