The NTA has announced Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2024 for admission to Undergraduate Courses.
JEE Main Application Process 2024
JEE Main 2024 Application Form has been released. The general application process includes the following steps
- Candidates can apply for JEE (Main) – 2024 through the “Online” mode only through the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
- Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. In no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form.
- Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website.
- Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
- Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
- In case any candidate faces difficulty in applying for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 (January 2024), he/she may contact on 011 – 40759000 / 011 – 69227700 or e-mail at [email protected].
Note:
- In the first session of JEE (Main) – 2024, only Session 1 will be visible and candidates can opt for that. In the next session, Session 2 will be visible, and the candidates can opt for that Session.
- The application window for Session 2 will be reopened as per the details available in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice.

Mode of Payment
- Through Credit Card/Debit Card (except Master/Visa Card)/Net Banking/UPI):
- Processing charges and Goods & Service Taxes (GST) are to be paid by the candidate, as applicable.
JEE Main Dates 2024
Candidates must keep in mind the important dates for the JEE Main 2024 which are given below-
Session 1 (January)
- Online Submission of Application Form: 01st Nov to 30th November 2023 (up to 09:00 P.M.)
- Last date for successful transaction of prescribed Application Fee: 30th November 2023 (up to 11:50 P.M.)
- Announcement of the City of Exam: By the 2nd week of January 2024
- Downloading Admit Cards from the NTA Website: 03 days before the actual date of the Exam
- Dates of Examination: Between 24th January & 01st February 2024
- Display of Question Paper attempted by the Candidate and Answer Keys for inviting challenges: To be displayed on the NTA website
- Declaration of Result: 12 February 2024
Session 2 (April)
- Online Submission of Application Form: 02nd Feb to 02nd March 2024 (up to 09:00 P.M.)
- Last date for successful transaction of prescribed Application Fee: 02nd March 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M.)
- Announcement of the City of Exam: By the 03rd week of March 2024
- Downloading Admit Cards from the NTA Web: 03 days before the actual date of the Exam
- Dates of Examination: Between 01st & 15th April 2024
- Display of Question Paper attempted by the Candidate and Answer Keys for inviting challenges: To be displayed on the NTA website
- Declaration of Result: 25th April 2024
