M.Tech admission 2010-11

Applications are invited for the following disciplines

Textiles (18 seats)

Computer Engineering (18 seats)

Eligibility

M.Tech (Textiles): B.Tech/B.E. (Textile Technology/Textile Chemistry/Fashion & Apparel Engineering) degree from any recognized University with at least 55% marks in aggregate

M.Tech (Computer Engineering): GATE with qualifying degree obtained as a regular student from recognized university in the approved list of AIU or and equivalent degree recognized by UGC securing at least 55% marks or equivalent in aggregate

 

First preference: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/Computer Technology/Information Technology

Second preference in the order: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in (a) Electronics and Communication Engineering (b) Electronics Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/Electrical Engineering

Third preference: Master in Computer Application/M.Sc (Computer Science/M.Sc (I.T), M.Sc (Software Engineering)/M.Sc (Maths)/M.Sc (Physics)

The vacant general/sponsored seats if any will be filled through self-financing candidates. Scholarship for GATE qualified candidates only as per AICTE Norms. Apply on prescribed application form worth Rs 500/- can be had from the Institute’s counter or by sending a bank draft for Rs 550/- favouring The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences payable at Bhiwani

Application form can also be down loaded from the website and the completed application form should be sent by post along with a bank draft for Rs 600/- and other relevant documents up to the last date

In case any candidates fails to report personally to the institute on Thursday 24th August, 2010 up to 11.00 a.m. the seat available upon his/her turn will be allotted to the next candidate in order of merit wise list of candidates registered for admission to M.Tech courses
