B.Tech: Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Food technology (4 years)*

B.Tech: Computer science and engineering, Electronics and communication engineering (4 years)**

5 years Dual degree B.Tech and M.Tech: Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Food Technology*

Eligibility: *10+2 (PCB/PCM) minimum marks 50%; **10+2 (PCM) with minimum marks 50%

Date of entrance test: 26th April, 2010 (11.00 a.m.-13.00 p.m.)

Test centres: Solan (SILB, the Mall, opposite PWD rest house); Shimla (govt college, Kotshera, Chaura Maidan); Hamirpur (blue star Sr. sec. public school, opposite DC office); Palampur (KLB DAV college for girls); Chandigarh (SD public school, sector 32C)

Syllabus: 10+2 of CBSE

Scheme of examination: Entrance examination comprising of one paper of three parts; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (for PCB stream students) of equal weightage with objective type questions. There shall be no negative marking

How to apply: Procure application form along with information brochure for Rs 700/- at city office SILB, the Mall, Solan or procure through post by sending demand draft of Rs 750/- or download from www.shooliniuniversity.com and send it with demand draft of Rs 700/- (ii) application forms also available for Rs 750/- at the following branches of Punjab National bank (from 5th April, 2010); Himachal Pradesh; all district head quarters, Rampur, Dharmshala (Kotwali bazaar); Chandigarh (sectors 19 and 22B); Ludhiana (Bharat nagar chowk); Bathinda (Arya samaj chowk); Jammu Tawi; Dehradun (Paltan bazaar)

The completed application form along with attested photocopies of all academic certificates, testimonials and 3 passport size photographs and demand draft (favouring Shoolini University payable at Solan) may be sent to the Registrar Shoolini University, city office, the Mall, Solan-173212 (Himachal Pradesh)

Candidates may also register and fill application forms for entrance test on-the-spot, at least one hour before start of the test, along with fee of Rs 700/-
