Applications are invited for direct admission to the 2nd year Diploma in three year Diploma Engineering Courses through Lateral Entry in the 109 affiliated polytechnic colleges of the board.

Eligibility

12th Science with Vocational/Technical or 10th + (2 years ITI)

12th Science with Vocational/Technical subjects or 10th + (2 years ITI)

Provided however if seats remained vacant then the same will be filled on the basis of merit as per the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

ITI at least with one year (who passed 10th level School Leaving Examination before admission to ITI courses) from any Institution of Punjab/Other state.

10+2 Vocational examination in various branches from any institute of Punjab/Other State.

10+2 with science from any institute of Punjab/Other state.

Two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal and have Punjab Domicile.

Prospectus-cum-application forms are available at a cost of Rs. 250/- in the Suvidha Centres at Deputy Commissioner Offices in Punjab, office of the Board and on Board’s Website.

Submission of Application Forms

The application forms complete in all respects may be submitted to the Board’s Office at Plot No. 1A, Sector 36-A, Chandigarh on or before 11th June, 2011 along with processing fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 750/- for SC/ST) in the form of bank draft in person of by Registered post/courier superscribing Lateral Entry-2011 on the envelope.

Counselling- The online counselling will be started from 24th June, 2011 as per the schedule outlined in the Prospectus. No separate intimation letter will be sent to the candidates.
