Admissions for Full-Time BE Courses 2011-2012 at NSIT

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) invites applications (to be filled online) for admission in BE (Full-time) programs from the candidates who have appeared in AIEEE-2011 and have been declared eligible for central counseling by the CBSE. 85% of the total seats at the Institute are reserved for candidates belonging to Delhi region

(Students passing the qualifying examination from recognized Board/ Colleges/Institutions located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi) and 15% of total seats for candidates belonging to outside Delhi Region (students passing the qualifying examination from the recognized Schools/Board/Institutes located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi).

Established in 1983 as Delhi Institute of Technology, (renamed as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in 1997) with an objective of meeting growing demand for manpower in the emerging areas of Engineering and Technology.

An Autonomous Institution fully funded by the Government of N.C.T of Delhi.

Affiliated to the University of Delhi for UG, PG and Ph.D. Programs.

Full-Time B.E. Course offered in the following areas:

Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Manufacturing Processes & Automation Engineering, Information Technology & Bio-Technology

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/College/Institute 60% marks in PCM (50% for SC/ST, 55% for PH (Physical Challenged) / DC (Defence Category) and should have appeared in AIEEE, 2011 and have been declared eligible for central counseling by the CBSE.

Admissions Process

A candidate has to apply online for counseling, the details of which are available at the site www.nsit.nic.in. It is mandatory for a candidate to deposit one time non-refundable processing fee or Rs. 1000/- (latest by 15.06.2011), to gain access to the online registration process at any of the branches of the Andhra Bank by using Challan form which can be downloaded from our website.

The last date for submission of online choice is 27.06.2011
