Graduate Engineer Course on Operation and Maintenance in Transmission and Distribution Systems

Duration: 26 weeks

This is a Graduate Engineer Program for those who desire to make a career in the power sector

About the Course: This is a unique course of 26 weeks duration which will be conducted by Power Systems Training Institute (PSTI) under NPTI at Bangalore

The course content complies with the syllabus for Engineers and Supervisors for Operation and Maintenance of Transmission and Distribution Systems

Placement: The previous batch trainees got placement in ABB, L&T, BSES, Easun Reyrolle, KEC International, Adani Power, Torrent Power, Sterlite Industries, Enercon India Ltd, Essar Power, Fichiner, Abhijit Power, Jyoft Structures, Kalpataru Power Transmission limited, Switchgear and Control, PR&DC, JSPL, Consulting Engineering Services, Kalki Communications, etc companies

Eligibility: Bachelor of engineering or equivalent in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics or Power engineering

Age Limit: Maximum age limit as on 01st July, 2012 is 30 years

Age relaxation for reserve category will be given as per Govt norms

No age limit for sponsored candidates

Selection Criteria: Percentage of marks obtained in the B.E. or equivalent examination as per University norms

Seats: 60 (sixty)

25% seats are reserved for sponsored category

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH will be as per Govt norms in the non-sponsored category

Fees: Rs 1,20,000/- for non-sponsored candidates Rs 1,50,000/-for sponsored candidates

Sponsored Candidates: The candidates sponsored by employers

If fulfilling eligibility requirement, will be admitted directly
