M.Tech Admission-2012

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad, invites application for admissions to M.Tech programme with the following specializations for 2012 session

Information Technology: Software Engineering, Wireless Communication and Computing, Intelligent Systems, Robotics, Human Computer Interaction

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc degrees in any branch of Engineering and its equivalent with valid GATE score in respective disciplines

Bioinformatics: B.E./B.Tech degrees m any branch of Engineering/MCA/M.Sc (with valid GATE score in respective disciplines) or B.Pharm/MBBS/BDS and B.V.Sc & AH (without GATE score)

In addition, B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc & AH candidates are also eligible for this program (for whom no GATE score is required)

Electronics and Communication Engineering: Microelectronics, Communication Engineering

Eligibility: B.Tech in Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electronic Instrumentation Engineering/Electrical Engineering/M.Sc in Physics (with specialization in Electronics)/ M.Sc in Electronics with valid GATE score

All GATE qualified and B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS and B.V.Sc & AH candidates shall be eligible for a monthly teaching assistantship of Rs 8000/-

Candidates appearing in qualifying degree examinations may also apply

A single form has to be filled, irrespective of the specialization and the applicant may indicate his/her choice of stream (specialization) in the application form

Last date for submission of completed application forms (on-line/off-line) at IIIT-A 15th April, 2012, 6.00 p.m.

Entrance examination schedule

Written test 10th May, 2012, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon

Laboratory test 10th May, 2012, 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Interview of shortlisted candidates 11th May, 2012, 9.00 a.m. onwards

Declaration of result 11th May, 2012
