Admission into Long Term ME / M.Tech Courses-2011

Central Institute of Tool Design is an ISO 9001:2008 certified premier Institute in Asia to provide specialized training in Tool Engineering, CAD/CAM & Mechatronics. The objective of the Institute is to meet the requirements of the Industries in the field of Tool Design & Manufacture and to train the technical personnel in these fields.

The Institute was originally established in the year 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO

Applications are invited for admission into the following Long Term courses commencing from August 2011.

Master of Engineering (M.E.) – Tool Design (4 semesters) 25 Seats
(In collaboration with Osmania University, Hyderabad)

Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering equivalent.

Courses Fee

Rs. 26,000/- per Semester for Self Sponsored.

Rs. 32,000/- per Semester for Industry sponsored.

MASTER OF ENGINEERING (M.E.) – Mech-CAD/CAM (4 Semesters) 25 Seats
(In collaboration with Osmania University, Hyderabad)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Mechatronics / equivalent.

Courses Fee
Rs. 32,000/- per Semester for Self Sponsored.
Rs. 40,000/- per Semester for Industry sponsored.

MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY (M.Tech.) –Mechatronics (4 Semesters) - 25 Seats
(In collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, Hyderabad)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent

Courses Fee

Rs. 32,000/- per Semester for Self Sponsored.

Rs. 40,000/- per Semester for Industry sponsored

Age: No age limit. However, candidates below 45 years of age are preferred.

Experience, for Sponsored candidates only- Minimum 2 years of professional experience after passing qualifying examination as on 30.06.2011.

Admission: Admission is purely based on rank obtained in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the Institute. Entrance Test is compulsory and common for all categories of candidates including sponsored, non-sponsored, and candidate with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination from the Institutions approved by AICTE, are eligible The GATE rank holders also need to qualify themselves in the Entrance Test.

Last date for submission of applications with late fee of Rs. 500/-: 30.06.2011

ENTRANCE EXAM DATE: 09-07-2011 (SATURDAY) for M.Tech courses

10-07-2011 (SUNDAY) for ME courses.

Note

Candidates appearing for final Degree examination can also apply for the respective courses provided they secure a final pass in the qualifying exam at the time of counseling for admission.
