Avinashilingam engineering entrance examination (AEEE)-2011

B.E. programmes offered (4 years): Computer science and engineering; Biomedical instrumentation engineering; information technology; food processing and preservation technology; electronics and communication engineering; printing technology; electrical and electronics engineering; civil engineering

M.E. programmes offered (2 years): Computer science and engineering; medical electronics; food technology; VLSI design

Eligibility (for B.E. course): Candidates born on or after 1st July, 1990 are eligible to apply for AEEE-2011

They should have studied in regular, full-time, formal stream in the school

Candidates appearing for the 12th std examinations in March 2011 are eligible to apply

A pass in 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with computer science/biology

At least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together (45% marks in case of reserved category)

Issue of application forms: Application forms and prospectus will be available at the office of the Avinashilingam deemed university for women, Coimbatore-641043 on payment of Rs 600/- by cash or through post by sending a request letter to the registrar containing the full address and tele number of the applicant along with a demand draft for Rs 650/- (for SC/ST students Rs 300/- by cash or Rs 350/- by post) drawn in favour of the registrar, Avinashilingam deemed university for women payable at Coimbatore or by downloading from the website www.avinuty.ac.in or www.auengg.com

Applications will be issued from: 19th January, 2011

Last date for receiving the filled-in applications: 28th March, 2011

Entrance examination on: 03rd April, 2011 (10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon)
