Popular Front of India announces Loan Scholarship 2017
Popular Front of India invites applications for Loan Scholarship 2017 to support needy and meritorious students having Professional Interests
The scheme was started to contribute in improving the socio-economic status of the less privileged ones. Popular Front of India is providing this national scholarship scheme for higher education for the 07th consecutive year
It has so far distributed INR 5.2 Cr to 6482 (3890 boys and 2592 girls) students

Eligibility Criteria
Popular Front of India offers scholarship support awarded based on Need, Academic Merit, Background, Specific Talents or Professional Interests. Preference will be given to applicants whose course choices relate to the priority areas like Journalism, Law, Social Work etc. After graduation and gainful employment
All scholarship beneficiaries are obliged to sponsor needy students. Kindly contribute to improve socio-economic status of other less privileged students once you are successful
Application Deadline
Applications may be submitted up until the closing date of scholarship and only through online. Application receiving period are July to August for each year. Applications will close on 31st August. This timeframe may change but we will issue a press release in this regard
Results
Please note that once the scholarship results are known, all applicants will receive an auto generated email with the application status. This will normally take approximately 3 months after the closing date; however, in some cases this may take a little longer

Before applying, be ready with all your academic details, photo, contact details etc. If you ever applied before for this scholarship and have a Profile ID then you have to apply by clicking the Renewal Application Link
Enter information as accurately as possible, especially your contact details. Please ensure that you enter correct permanent address, mobile number and email address. You may miss receipt of important updates from the scholarship team in case of incorrect information
After successful application, you will get an e-mail and SMS which contains your “PROFILE ID”. For all future reference, renewal, application status check etc. required this “PROFILE ID”
If you cannot find a particular university, course, district etc. in the list, then please continue and submit your application with the available information and send an e-mail to [email protected] with the correct information, we will update it for you
