New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) for Indian Students 2016

New Zealand Universities and Education New Zealand (ENZ) are jointly offering New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) for Indian students.

Applications are invited to pursue Undergraduate or Postgraduate study in New Zealand in the fields of business, fashion and STEM-related Programs (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

Scholarship Details

No. of Scholarships: 35

Each scholarship has a value of NZD $5,000 towards the first year tuition fee

Eligibility Criteria

All Applicants must be at least 18 years at the time of application

Hold current citizenship of India (and not be a citizen or Permanent Resident of New Zealand or Australia)

Hold a minimum equivalent GPA of B+ in most recent or highest tertiary qualification

Have evidence of (unconditional) offer of place at a New Zealand University

Meet Immigration New Zealand requirements for a New Zealand Student Visa including health, character requirements and evidence of financial support

A minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS is required for admission at the first-year level. An alternative is TOEFL (iBT): minimum score 79-80

All scholarship applications should be sent to scholarship-at-enz.govt.nz (with NZEA application in subject) with all required documents for scholarship application

Proof of financial documents to support the remaining cost of education as specified by Immigration New Zealand (please refer to www.immigration.govt.nz for further information on student visa requirements)

University applications must be submitted (to the relevant university) by 01st September 2016

Scholarship applications must be submitted (to ENZ) by 01st October 2016

For the February 2017 Intake:

University applications must be submitted (to the relevant university) by 30th October 2016

Scholarship applications must be submitted (to ENZ) by 30th November 2016
