The Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) invites applications for Mexican Government Scholarships for International Students 2018 on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of India
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) invites applications for the 2018 Mexican Government Scholarship Program for International Students. Foreign citizens who are interested in studying for a specialization, master’s degree or doctorate, conducting graduate or postdoctoral research, or taking part in an undergraduate or graduate-level academic mobility program, are welcome to participate in the Scholarship Program
The scholarships are offered to more than 180 countries through a series of bilateral conventions, multilateral programs and special agreements. More than 70 Mexican institutions participate and all offer academic programs registered with the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT) the National Quality Graduate Programs. These programs demonstrate the progress made by Mexico in the sciences and humanities

Monthly stipend
College registration and tuition fees
Health Insurance from Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), starting from third month of Scholarship
Round Trip International Airfare (if pursuing studies outside Mexico City, Transport from Mexico city to the host institution and back will be provided
Eligibility
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD Degrees as required by the program for which the scholarship is requested
The scholarship will be awarded on academic excellence. Minimum grade point average of 80 on a scale of 0-100, or the equivalent for the last academic degree received
Be accepted, or currently enrolled in a program, of the participating Mexican Institutions in the cal. Candidates cannot be living in Mexico at the time of application
Selection Criteria
Academic Excellence of the candidates in the intended area of Study
The intended field of study or specialization in Mexico is related to the applicant’s academic and job History; the area of study is important to and has a direct impact on the development of the applicant’s Country
The Program must relate to specific current or approved projects that have an impact on the development of the applicant’s country
How to Apply
The entire scholarship application process must be done through the Mexican embassy in the applicant Country or the concurrent embassy. Only application that fulfill all the requirement will be considered
Candidates must apply online through the Academic cooperation management System. (https://Sigca.sre.gob.mx)
The application period will be between 04th August – 28th September 2017. Required documents should be submitted as indicated in the system
Important Dates
Applications for the scholarship will be accepted from 04th August to 28th September 2017 at 15.00 (Local Time in Maxico City)
The results will be announced as on 29th of November 2017
