SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS (SRF)
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellows (SRF) under AP Cess Fund Supported Research Project entitled “Identification of molecular markers for apomixes/sexuality in Cenchrus ciliaris and Dichanthium annulatum.“ The Project is sanctioned for three years only w.e.f. the date of its start.
Senior Research Fellow: Two Posts. Fellowship: Rs. 2500 p.m. fixed for two years and Rs. 2800 p.m. fixed for the third year and HRA @ Rs. 450 p.m. and Medical @ Rs. 40 p.m. only.
Qualifications: Essential: M.Sc (Botany)/M.Sc (Biotechnology)/M.Sc (Ag.) April. Botany (Genetics and Plants Breeding) with good academic record. Desirable: Training and/or research experience in Tissue culture/Plant Molecular Biology Techniques. Age Limit: Not more than 30 years. Location: IFGRI, JHANSI . Duties: To assist in conducting research programme and day-to-day job related to project.
General Information:
- Age Limit: Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from the candidate. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Handicapped as per rules of Govt. of India.
- Last Date: Applications completed in all respects and addressed to the Director, Indian Grassland and fodder Research Institute, Jhansi-284003 (UP) should reach this office within 30 days from the date of appearing of the advertisement in the newspapers.

- Applications should be submitted on plain paper (typed in English or Hindi) in the format given along with a recent passport size photograph and testimonials of educational qualifications, experience, date of birth and caste certificate if belonging to SC/ST/OBC.

- Candidate serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous organizations should apply through proper channel. In case of any anticipated delay, one advance copy complete in all the aspects may be sent and application through proper channel may follow in the reasonable time, i.e., within 30 days from the date of appearing of the advertisement in the newspaper.
- The Institute holds no responsibility for any postal delay.
- Photostat certified copies of all the certificates in respect of date of birth, educational, technical qualifications and experience, etc., should be enclosed along with the application.
- Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected without any reference to the candidate.
- Candidate registered in Employment Exchange other than local employment exchange may also apply and they will be considered if sufficient number of candidates belonging to the local employment exchange are not available.
- Canvassing in any manner will be a disqualification. No interim enquiries would be entertained.
