STUDIES IN SINGAPORE

Undergraduate Courses Available are:

  • Engineering: Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical & Production Engineering.
  • Computer Engineering
  • Materials Engineering
  • Biological Sciences
  • Accountancy
  • Business
  • Communication Studies.
    • Terms of Award: The scholarship will provide a maintenance allowance of S$ 6,000 per annum, an accommodation and setting-in allowance, tuition fees and other compulsory fees, return air passage at the beginning and end of the scholarship term.

Upon graduation, scholars will work for the sponsoring companies or other approved organizations in Singapore for 6 years, enjoying the same salary and benefits as other employees.

  • Who can Apply: Students who are Indian nationals, completing Standard 12 in the year of the advertisement, are eligible to apply.

Applicants may be required to take an entrance examination before final decision on admission is made. Details on the examination will be made known to those who are shortlisted.

  • SIA-NOL Undergraduate Scholarships: Candidates may also apply for the Singapore Airlines-Neptune Orient Lines (SIA-NOL) Under graduate Scholarships which are awarded to outstanding students of Indian nationality. The scholarship covers:

Maintenance allowance of S$6,000 per annum

One-time setting-in allowance of S$200

Accommodation allowance pegged at lowest double room rate for on campus accommodation

Return air passage at the beginning and end of the scholarship term

Application, tuition and other compulsory fees for the course of study. Scholars, on completion of the course, will have to serve a 6-year bond working for the sponsoring companies, their subsidiaries or any other Singapore registered organisations.

Candidates must submit the application form for the SIA-NOL Undergraduate Scholarship together with the application form for admission to NTU. Applications for admission and SIA-NOL Undergraduate Scholarships can also be submitted on-line from our website at: www.ntu.edu.sg/registrar/issu.
