GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DEPARTMENT SPACE, NATIONAL MST RADAR FACILITY
ISRO/NMRF/RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP
The National MST Radar Facility is a premise Atmospheric Research Centre established at Godanki, near Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, under Department of Space, Government o India.
It is proposed to institute one visiting research fellowship to undertake research in Atmospheric Science. It is likely that one or two more visiting research fellowships for future programmes may also be instituted. Applications are invited from suitable candidates to be considered for the award of the Research Fellowship.
Qualifications: M.Sc (Physics) with specialization in Atmospheric Physics or Space Physics or Electronics/M.Sc. (Meteorology), M.Phil or M.Tech (Atmospheric Scinces) with First Class. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified in NET/GATE Examinations. NMRF reserves the right to screen the applications and reject any or all applications without assigning reasons therefore.
While giving preference to candidates with NET/GATE qualification, others including those expecting results of the qualifying examinations, may also apply. However in case of selection they have to produce all documents to prove that they have passed the qualifying examination in 1 Class at the time of joining the fellowship.
Fellowship: Rs. 5000 for PG-Degree holders in Scientific Discipline and Rs. 6000 for PG-Degree holders in Engineering/Technology with 2 years experience. This will be reviewed for extension after two years with enhanced fellowship of Rs. 5600 and Rs. 6400 respectively. Other benefits, and terms and conditions are as per ISRO norms for the fellowships,
Candidates with the above qualifications may send their applications with bio-data on plain paper to the Administrative Officer-1, National MST Radar Facility, P.B. No. 123, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh so as to reach this office within one month from the date of release of the advertisement.
