FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

 

 

• The institute currently offers two Postgraduate Programmes for Engineering Graduates and the MCA Degree holders. The batch of 5-year integrated postgraduate programme for 10+2 pass-outs shall commence from the academic year. The institute has very active association with industry. The Institute campus is being built on a 60-hectare land with state-of-the-art IT facilities and student support systems to enable overall personality development. The campus will be fully wired enabling Internet connectivity to all campus residents and users and shall have academic buildings with futuristic provisions in Laboratories and Library.
• Eligibility Criteria: (i) Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or MBA and equivalent, (ii) Throughout first division with at least 65% marks or a grade point average of 7.00 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying degree. Those appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination, in any of the above areas may also apply, (iii) For working professionals in industry and teachers in technical institutions there is a provision for part-time registration. Such candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the relevant area with the qualifications as above. However, the minimum PG qualification would be relaxed to UG qualification for persons working with the industry but such candidates should have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Admission Procedure: Candidates must apply for full-time/part time Fellowship Programme (Ph.D Level Programme) of this institute in the areas of Information Technology and Management on a plain paper (paste a recent self attested colour photograph) in the given format and submit the completed applications along with photocopies of marks in qualifying examination, to The Dean, IIITM, Gwalior, Gola Ka Mandir, MITS Campus, Gwalior-474005, enclosing a non-refundable crossed demand draft for Rs. 200 (Rs. 100 for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of IIITM, Gwalior payable at Gwalior.

 

All Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and whose completed application form with draft reaches by the last date are eligible for appearing in the selection process of written test followed by the interview. No separate information shall be sent for the test. The institute will pay no TA/DA for this purpose. List of the selected candidates will be displayed the same day. Selected candidates will be required to deposit institute fee within one week of the declaration of the result. Separate hostels for male and female students will be provided.

• Stipend: The selected candidates pursuing the programme on full time basis shall be provided a fellowship of Rs. 5000 per month and contingency amount of Rs. 10,000 per year.
