IISc Centenary Post-Doctoral Fellowship
The Indian institute of science, Bangalore is pleased to announce the IISc Centenary Post-Doctoral Fellowship to encourage bright scientists and engineers (preferably below 35 years) of all nationalities to work in the stimulating environment of the institute
Duration: The fellowship will be for a period of 2 years (renewable for one more year)
Qualification: Candidates with a PhD degree (in science or engineering) or those who have recently submitted their doctoral theses can apply
Fellowship: Rs 25,000 per month for a PhD with 2 years experience
Rs 20,000 per month for a recent PhD
Rs 15,000 per month for those yet to be awarded the PhD

Accommodation: Post-doctoral fellows will be provided with suitable accommodation and a contingency grant of Rs 50,000 per year for research
How to apply: Candidates must provide a 500-word research proposal indicating the research they would like to undertake and the facilities required

Date of birth
Synopsis of the PhD thesis
Research proposal
Educational qualifications
List of publications
Applicants should also send a copy each of 3 best publications and a 500-word research proposal to postdoc@admin.iisc.ernet.in
They should request three referees to send their confidential evaluation directly to postdoc@admin.iisc.ernet.in
When should you apply: Applications can be submitted at any time of the year and applicants will be informed about the decision on their application within three months
