Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, one of the premier research institutes under Council of Scientific & Industrial Research invites applications for award of Research Fellowships in the areas of (1) Organic Chemistry (2) Inorganic Chemistry (3) Physical Chemistry (4) Physical Organic Chemistry.
Candidates with a Second Class (at least with 55% marks) Masters Degree in Chemistry. Analytical, Pharmaceutical and allied Sciences, in the relevant disciplines are eligible to apply.
Selection will be made on the basis of written test followed by an interview.
The upper age limit is 28 years as on the last date for receipt of applications and relaxable for 5 years as on the last date for receipt of applications and relaxable for 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates.
The Research Fellow will be entitled to a consolidated stipend of Rs. 5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only) per month. The award of Fellowship is initially for a period of two years, which is extendable for another two years based on performances of the candidate and externally funded project support.
The selected candidate is expected to register for Ph.D. degree within a period of oen ear of his/her joining as IICT Research Fellow.

The duly signed applications supported by copies of Certificates along with two passport size photographs and an application fee of Rs. 100 (SC/ST candidates are exempted) in the form of a Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn afresh in favour of the “Director, IICT, Hyderabad” should be sent to the Director, Indian Institute, Uppal Road, Hyderbad-500007.
Last date of receipt of applications is 21 days from the date of publication. NO Travelling Allowance is admissible for attending the written test/interview or for joining as Research Fellow at IICT. Mere fulfillment of qualification will not entitle the candidate to be called for written test/interview. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. No interim enquires will be entertained.
