Applications are invited for Combined Examination for the Award of ICAR Junior Fellowships (JRF) & Admission to 100% Seats of Master’s Degree Programme at IARI, IVRI, CIEF, NDRI & 25% seats to SAU’s & CAU in the field of Agriculture, Veterinary & Allied Science. The fellowships are tenable in Agricultural Universities/ICAR Institutes or other ICAR approved Institutions (BHU, AMU & Vishwa Bharti). The Fellowship will be at the rate of Rs. 5,000 pe month for graduate of Veterinary Science and Rs. 3,600 per month for graduate in other discipline for a period of two years with a Contingent Grant of Rs. 6,000 per annum for procurement of essential Chemicals, Equipments, Books & Travel allowances connected with collection of Research data. Continuance of Fellowship after 1 st year is dependent on maintaining required OGPA as per ICAR guidelines.

Admission as well as JRF would be available only if the student opts to join Master’s Degree programme in a University/Institute other than from where he/she has obtained Bachelor’s Degree except for DU’s, which admit 100% seats on the basis of All India Entrance Test.
The candidates who are likely to appear at the Bachelor’s Degree Examination in the year of the advertisement are also eligible to apply provisionally for admission test, but they will have to submit documentary evidence from the Registrar of the University of their acquiring eligibility on the date notified by the University/Institute for admission to Master’s Degree programmes, otherwise their candidature will not be considered at the time of Counselling.
Graduate from Non-Agricultural stream are eligible for admission to Master’s Degree programme only in specified subjects and in selected University/Institute, but for them the duration of Master Degree programme would be of 3 years, as 1 st year will be for completing remedial courses in Agricultural and no fellowship would be paid during the first year to such candidates. Candidates are advised to retain the details of Bank Draft No., issuing branch and name of the University/Institute from where the Information Bulletin was purchased for future reference.

Extension Counter, Pusa, New Delhi-110012. The Bank, Agricultural Universities and Institutes will not be responsible, if the forms are not available at the places. The Bank and Agricultural Universities will not send the Information Bulletin by Post. Hence, no request should be made to them for sending the Information Bulletin by Post.

The Information Bulletin and application form will be sent by Registered Post. The request for Information Bulletin by Post received after a date of April will not be entertained.
