EI SCHOLARSHIP FOR SC/ST STUDENTS

 

 

EIL invites applications from eligible SC/ST second year undergraduate engineering students for award of 25 scholarships @ Rs. 750 per month during 2 nd, 3 rd & 4 th year of engineering course.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should be full-time second year students currently studying in the current session of engineering degree courses in Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial, Chemical or Instrumentation branches, from an AICTE approved institution. Candidates should have passed all the subject in first year with marks not less than 55% in aggregate or equivalent. The annual income of parents’/guardian should not be more than Rs. 45,000 from all sources. Candidate should not be in receipt of financial aid from any other source.

How to Apply: Interested candidates may forward their application enclosing attested photocopies of relevant certificates, through their institutions which should reach the Dy General Manager (HRP & A), Engineers India Limited, 1, BhIkaji Cama Place, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-66 within 3 weeks from the date of release of the advertisement, superscribing on the envelope “Scholarship for SC/ST Engineering Students.”

The application must contain these details :

  • Name
  • Parents’/guardian name
  • Annual income of parents’/guardian from all sources for the last financial year
  • Indicate whether SC or ST
  • Name of the Institution
  • Date/Month/year of admission in engineering course
  • Discipline & duration of engineering course
  • Percentage of marks/CGPA/CPI, in first year
  • Indicate whether passed in all the subjects of first year: Yes or No Present address
  • Present address
  • Permanent address
  • Source and amount of financial aid already available, if any.

Notifications are published in December.
