RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN ENGINEERING &

APPLIED DISCIPLINES

 

 

Applications are invited for the following research positions in Department of Ceramic, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mining, Metallurgical Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics and Applied Physics as also in the School of Bio-Chemical, Bio-Medical Engineering and Materials Science & Technology of the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, subject to availability of actual vacancies.

• Research Fellowships: The candidates must have qualified NET/GATE. If selected they will be entitled for HRA, contingencies, etc., along with the following fellowship as per the eligibility criteria indicated against each.
• Senior Research Fellowship: Open to M.Tech/M.Pharm/MBBS degree holders @ Rs. 6,000 per month.
• Junior Research Fellowship: Open to M.Sc degree holders in applied Science departments @ Rs. 5,000 per month open only for NET/GATTE qualified candidates.

• Junior Research Fellowship: Open to M.Tech/M.Pharm/B.Tech/B.Pharm/M.Sc degree holders @ Rs. 5000 per month and contingencies, etc. The candidates must have qualified NET/GATE.

 

The ratio of reservation in respect of Research Fellowship shall be restricted to 15% and 7.5% for SC and ST candidates respectively.

The candidates selected for the award of SRF/JRF will be paid fellowship from the date of the award or from the date of the deposit of fees for registration, whichever be later. Varanasi 221005 enclosing a self-addressed 9” * 7” envelope with postage stamps for Rs. 18 affixed for each form for registered post.

Last date for receipt of completed Application Form is 4 (four) weeks from the date of publication.
