Notification on Selecting Two Ph.D. Fellowships under NABARD Chair Professor Scheme

We are planning to select TWO NABARD Fellows with Fellowship under NABARD Chair Professor Scheme to do Doctoral work in the area of agriculture and rural economics under my guidance.  The interested candidates with the following qualifications are requested to send their Bio-data to the above mentioned address on or before 10th of June, 2011.

Name of the Ph.D. fellowship – NABARD Fellowship

Number of Fellowship – Two

Duration of the Fellowship – Three Years

Amount of Fellowship – Rs. 12,000/- month for initial two years and
Rs, 14,000/- month for third year

Contingency – Rs. 25,000/- per annum

Qualifications – M.A., in Economics or M.Phil, in Economics or M.Sc., in Economics or M.Sc., in Mathematical Economics
[Candidate should have interest in doing Doctoral Work in the area of Agriculture and Rural Economics]

Preference – Preference will be given to NET or SET qualified candidates
