ACC Limited intends to grant Scholarship @ Rs 1000/- (Rs one thousand only) per month to meritorious bonafide Himachali students only who have taken admission in the academic year 2009-2010 in the first year B.E./B.Sc Engineering/B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science engineering/Information technology in the engineering colleges recognized by govt/ UGC/AICTE under the following categories. All such candidates should have valid AIEEE score for year 2009-10

Category-1: on the basis of +2 examination merit in all NITs and nominated by the H.P. Govt to other engineering institutes all over the country (06 nos)

Category-2: on the basis of +2 examination merit who have taken admission through JEE in other engineering institutes all over the country (02 nos)

Category-3: on the basis of merit of 10+2 or equivalent examination in other engineering institutes all over the country (02 nos)

Interested students who have secured not less than 75% marks in +2 examination in 2009 may apply by giving complete bio-data including attested copies of marks sheet of XII standard, AIEEE/JEE, Himachali bonafide certificate, study certificate from the institution where the candidate is pursuing his/her studies and certificates regarding recognition of said institution by 30th June, 2010 to the director, National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur-17705, Himachal Pradesh
