Swami Rama Himalayan University MBBS Admission 2020 – SRH University Notice for Admission into Under-Graduate Medical – MBBS Programme, conducted at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, a constituent Medical College of Swami Rama Himalayan University, for academic session 2020-2021 shall only be made based on the merit of NEET (UG) – 2020 through common counseling conducted by the State Government.

On behalf of State of Uttarakhand, the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun shall be conducting common counseling for admission into Undergraduate Medical – MBBS program for academic session 2020-2021 based on the merit of NEET (UG) – 2020

About MBBS Program 2020
  • It is hereby informed that for the academic session 2020-2021, admissions to Under-Graduate Medical – MBBS Programme conducted at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, a constituent Medical College of the University, shall only be made based on the merit of NEET (UG)-2020 through common counseling conducted by the State Government or its designated authority and none else.
  • Accordingly, on behalf of State of Uttarakhand, the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun shall be conducting common counseling for admission into Under-Graduate Medical – MBBS Programme for academic session 2020-2021 based on the merit of NEET (UG)-2020.
  • All NEET (UG)-2020 qualified candidates are invited for registration for the process of common counselling & admission into Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences.
  • The constituent college of the University, i.e. Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, has permission from National Medical Council, formerly known as Medical Council of India, to admit 150 candidates in MBBS Programme

Eligibility Criteria
The counselling and admission shall be open to registered candidate, who will fulfill the following criteria:
For M.B.B.S./B.D.S Courses in Government & Private Medical/Dental Colleges/ Private Medical College affiliated to State Medical University of Uttarakhand against State quota seats.
Is an Indian citizen.
The eligibility criteria of age for NEET UG–2020 Uttarakhand State Centralised Counselling will be as per the latest guidelines/ order of CBSE (NEET UG-2020 examination conducting body)/Hon’ble courts/ MCI/ DCI/ Government of India.
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio- technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled Caste/scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio- technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General candidates. Further, for Persons with disability the minimum of 45% marks for General PH.
Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand and have passed both High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution situated in the State of Uttarakhand.
Candidates who are not Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed both High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institutions situated in the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible but they will not be entitled for any type of reservation.

  • The candidates desirous to seek admission are required to apply online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.
