Eligibility Criteria for NIMS Hyderabad MPT Admission 2020

Educational Qualifications

 Candidate holding a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University and completed/shall be completing 6 months internship by 30-09-2020 in India or a Foreign University with at least 10+2+4 years of educational pattern and a minimum of 6 months internship. Deadline for completion of internship is 30th September, 2020
The candidates who have already registered for any degree or studying regular course and applying for admission to another course in NIMS, shall resign such training course in the Institute duly fulfilling the conditions of the bond and failure to do so, their applications for admission to the other course will be rejected
Age Limit The minimum age for admission shall be 22 years completed as on 31-12-2020 and should not be more than 35 years as on 31-12-2020. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years in the case of SC and ST candidates. For in-service (NIMS) candidates, the age limit is not applicable.

NIMS Hyderabad MPT Admission 2020 Application Process
  • Eligible candidates can apply online only through official website https://www.nims.edu.in/
  • The Online application registration, Notification and instructions to fill the application is available at NIMS website: www.nims.edu.in from 11.00 AM on 20th October 2020 till 5.00 PM of 04th November 2020 and last date for submission of hardcopy of application is 07th November 2020
  • The candidates are advised to take a print out of the prospectus/ instructions to fill the application form from the NIMS website www.nims.edu.in before proceeding to fill the online application form.
  • The hard copy of the online application duly signed shall be submitted to The Associate Dean, Academic-2, 2nd floor, Old OPD Block, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad 500082 on or before 5.00 PM of 07th November 2020 along with all the documents.

Selection Process
Selection will be made based on the performance of the candidates at the entrance test.
In case of equality of marks in the entrance examination, the following criteria will be adopted to resolve the ties:
a) Candidate obtaining higher total percentage of marks in B.P.T. followed by
b) Candidate elder in age will be placed higher in the merit list in that order

Syllabus
  • The syllabus for entrance test will be based on the BPT standard of the Universities of Telangana.

Admit Card
  • Admit cards can be downloaded from the website https://www.nims.edu.in/. Hall Tickets need to be downloaded from NIMS website while login with registration number and password on the notified date. The NIMS is not responsible for non-obtaining web based Hall Tickets and no correspondence in any other manner will be made in this matter.
  • Admit cards will only be released for the candidates who have submitted the application form on or before the last date. Admit card contains the important details regarding the exams like examination time, venue and instruction which candidates must follow during the examination time.
