Medium of Course Medium of instruction for all the subjects of study and for the examinations of the Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics Degree Course shall be English.
Duration BPO Program is of four and half academic years (inclusive of 6 months of internship)

Eligibility Criteria for IIPO Chennai BPO Admission 2021
  • A Candidate who has passed 10+2/HSC/Intermediate/12th in science or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany & Zoology) / Mathematics/ Computer Science and English with minimum aggregate of 50% marks will be eligible for admission to this course.

Age Limit
  • A candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the age on or before 31 December of the year of admission to the B.P.O. degree courses.

  • The application form can be downloaded from the website www.iipoinstitute.in and submitted duly filled along with Demand Draft of Rs.150/- drawn in favour of IIPO (a unit of ISHWAR) payable at New Delhi
  • Fill the Application Form downloaded from website (www.iipoinstitute.in)and send to The Principal, IIPO, AA 23, 3rd St. 3rd main Road, Anna Nagar, Chennai-600040
  • The following certificates / documents have to be submitted along with duly filled Application form (3 Photostat Copies):
  • Migration Certificate ( for Candidates other than Tamil Nadu State Board)
  • Transfer Certificate
  • 10+2 Marks Sheet/s
  • Birth Certificate/ 10th Certificate
  • Community/Caste Certificate (if Applicable)
  • Conduct/Character Certificate
  • Medical Fitness and Blood Group Certificate
  • Hepatitis –B Vaccination Certificate
  • Aadhar Card – Xerox Copy
  • Disability Certificate (if Applicable) – Check Eligibility
Note: Please submit 3 passport size recent photographs along with 3 sets of attested photocopies

Selection Process
  • Selection is based on Merit. Shortlisted candidates undergo a preliminary written test and interview at the time of counselling
