Combined Medical and Dental PG Entrance Examination-2011 (Uttarakhand)

The Uttarakhand Council of Entrance Examination (UCEE) would be conducting CMDPGEE 2011 for MD/MS and MDS specialties in Medical and Dental colleges of Uttarakhand

MD/MS courses in Sri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Anatomy (02), Physiology (02), Biochemistry (02), Microbiology (02), Pathology (02), Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (02), Community Medicine (02), Pharmacology (02)

Total number of seats 16

Admission to MD/MS course is subject to the permission obtained from MCI and Ministry of Health, govt of India

Number of seats may be increased or decreased as per the norms of the GoI

MDS course in Seema Dental College and Hospital, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

Prosthodontics (03), Oral Medicine and Radiology (03), Conservative Dentistry Including Endodontics (03), Orthodontics (03)

Total number of seats 12

Admission to MDS course is subject to the permission obtained from DCI and Ministry of Health, govt of India

Duration of course

MD/MS and MDS: Three years from the date of admission

Eligibility criteria: The candidate must be an Indian National

A candidate, who holds MBBS/BDS degree from a medical/dental college recognized by MCI/DCI and who has obtained full registration either from the MCI/DCI or any of the state councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination. Compulsory rotating internship must be completed in a recognized dental college

A candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS/BDS recognized by MCI/ DCI), is undergoing 12 month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March, 2011 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before 31st March, 2011

Registration with MCI/DCI/state medical/dental council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling

Admit cards to be issued by: 05th April, 2011

Date of entrance examination: 10th April, 2011

Centre of examination: Dehradun, Delhi

Expected date of declaration of result: Last week of April, 2011

Allotment of seat by personal appearance: Date to be declared soon

Time schedule for 1st round of counseling will be available on the website www.uceeindia.org in the last week of April 2011

If required, time schedule for 2nd round of counseling will be available on the website only

Last date of admission will be declared at the timing of counseling

Candidate should visit the website www.uceeindia.org and can download their admit cards by entering application form number

Results will be available on website

Candidate without original admit card, mark-sheet, certificate, degree and other required documents will not be entertained for counseling in any case; other details will be available on the website www.uceeindia.org
