Pre Medical Entrance Examination (PMEE)-2012

HIHT University invites application from eligible candidates for admission into MBBS course offered by Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences for the academic year 2012-13

Total seats: 100 out of which 30% seats are earmarked exclusively for the domiciled candidates of Uttarakhand

Eligibility

Age: Only those candidates, whose date of birth falls on or before 31st December, 1995 (minimum 17 years of age on 31st December, 2012) are eligible to apply

The upper age limit shall be 25 years as on 31st December, 2012

Minimum qualification: The candidates must have passed the 10+2 i.e. CBSE/ISC/Intermediate board examination or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of such study, comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English from a recognized board and must have obtained a minimum of 60% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates 50%) marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together and at least 50% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates 40%) marks separately in each of the above subject

The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in the PMEE-2012 but such candidates should submit the mark sheet of the qualifying examination on or before 10th June, 2012

Application forms can also be obtained in person by depositing a demand draft or in cash a sum of Rs 1200/- or by post by sending a demand draft of Rs 1250/- drawn in favour of HIHT University payable at State bank of India, Jolly Grant (bank code 10580), Dehradun from office of the controller of examination, HIHT University, Swami Ram Nagar, PO Doiwala, Dehradun-248140, Uttarakhand or from the university office, NIL 24A, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi
