Notice for DNB course in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Applications are invited for the admission to DNB broad speciality in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (2 seats) for the session starting July, 2010

Last date for receipt of applications is August 10, 2010

Interview will be held on August 12, 2010 at 10.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned

Eligibility: Any medical graduate with MBBS qualifications, who has completed internship and registered with MCI/DMC/state medical council and who has qualified in CET (combined entrance test) conducted by national board of examination (NBE)

CET qualification is valid for two years after date of declaration of results

Apply on plain paper along with two passport size photographs and demand draft of Rs 500/- in favour of the Director Principal, Govt Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh along with attested copies of all certificates

Original documents should be brought at the time of interview

No separate notice/letter will be issued for the interview

The selected candidates are required to execute a bond of Rs 1 lac (in case he/she leaves the course before completion of twelve months) and Rs 2 lac (if he/she leaves the course after twelve months, any time, i.e. in 2nd or 3rd year of admission to the said course) and will have to pay this amount in case the candidates leaves the course before completing the tenure

A course fee of Rs 50,000/- per annum is to be paid by the candidate to the hospital for the duration of the course

The selected candidates are offered the post and salary of Junior Resident for Board speciality course in the hospital

All terms and conditions not specified herein will be governed by terms and conditions of NBE and GMCH
