For admission to medical programmes in D.Y. Patil Medical college, Hospital and Research Institute, Kolhapur

All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test 2010 (AIPGMET 2010) will be conducted for admissions to various Post Graduate Medical Courses under D. Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur 416006, a constituent college of D.Y. Patil Education Society Deemed University. AIPGMET-2010 will be on 10th February 2010 from 11.00 am to 2.30 pm.

MS: General surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Opthalomology, ENT (Otorhinolaryngology), Anatomy, Orthopedics

MD: General medicine, Pediatrics, Pathology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Microbiology, Physiology

(MS general surgery and MD general medicine subject to MCI recognition)

Diplomas: DGO, D.Ortho., DCH

Eligibility: MBBS

Date and time of entrance test: 10.02.2010, 11.00 a.m. to 14.30 p.m.

Last date of availability and submission of application form (without late fee): 30.01.2010, (with late fee): 06.02.2010

Price of brochure - Rs. 1000/-, entrance test fee – Rs. 2000/-, late fee – Rs. 1000/-

MODE OF ENTRANCE TEST

- The AIPGMET-2010 will be of three and half hours duration containing 300 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Questions will be of single best response objective type with four answer options. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

- The Examination will be conducted in English.

- The Entrance Test shall be of the standard of M.B.B.S. Examination and shall cover all the subjects of the M.B.B.S. course.

Information brochure will be available: (i) from the university office by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash or by a demand draft, or (ii) by post/courier by sending demand draft of Rs 1250/- or (iii) by applying online application form through university website (to be submitted with a demand draft of Rs. 3000/-)

Applicant should dispatch the completed form to the University along with a demand draft of required amount drawn on any nationalized bank, in favour of the Registrar, DY Patil education society deemed university’ payable at Kolhapur

DECLARATION OF AIPGMET 2010 RESULT
The result of the All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test 2010 in the form of merit list arranged according to the marks obtained by the candidates containing names of the candidates will be declared at 3.30 PM
on 27 th February 2010 at the University office and on website.
