Entrance test for admission to BAMS course

Ch Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan is the upcoming state of the art 210 bedded hospital/teaching institution fully controlled and financed by govt of NCT of Delhi

The sansthan is spread over an area of about 95 acres and has about 49,000 sq mts of build up are with all facilities like modern classrooms, laboratories, auditorium, games and sports, recreation centre, hostel for boys and girls, etc and a dedicated and experienced faculty

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will be holding the CET for admission to first professional of Ayurvedacharya BAMS as per following details

Name of degree: Ayurvedacharya (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)

BAMS course has been treated at par for scholarship, stipend, salary etc with that of MBBS course offered in Delhi

Affiliation Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi

Recognized by govt of India, govt of Delhi, CCIM under act IMCC act 1970

No of seats: 100 (85 for Delhi region and 15 for all India)

Reservation as per policy of GGSIP University

Eligibility criteria: Candidate should have passed the 12th class or any equivalent examination from the recognized university/board of any Indian state with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, Sanskrit (core or elective or functional)

Age: Candidate should be 17 years as on 31st December, 2010

Age relaxation in case of NRI and foreign national’s candidates may also be considered at the time of admission

Duration of the course: Four and half years and one year compulsory internship i.e. (5 and 1/2 years)

Eligible candidates: Indian nationals, NRI, foreign students as per policy of govt

Selection criteria: Common entrance test to be held on 21st November, 2010

Application forms are available at the Punjab and Sind Bank, University campus, Kashmiri Gate on payment of Rs 1000/- up to 19th November, 2010

Last date of submission of application is 19th November, 2010

The selection process will be subject to the permission of the competent authority
