An entrance test (All India COMPETITIVE TEST) on all India basis will be held in Two Stages First Stage (BHU PMT - SCREENING on Wednesday, 9th MAY 2007 at VARANASI, DELHI, Kolkata and Hyderabad Centres for admission to MBBS Course to screen candidates for eligibility to take PMT - MAIN-2007 to be held on Sunday 17th June at Varanasi Only
Eligibility for BHU 2007 PMT
ELIGIBILITY : QUALIFICATIONS - Passed Intermediate, 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology & Botany) taken together. Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply
Reservation of Seats: Orthopedic Physically Disabled(PD)/SC/ST - Check out the Information Booklet.
AGE : Completed 17 years but have not crossed 25 years as on 31st December 2007 (Candidates born on or after 1st January 1991 and on or before 31st December 1982 need not apply).

BY CASH : on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 600/- for SC/ST candidates) from 01.01.2007 from the following branches of Bank of Baroda.

(b) DELHI-(1) Parliament Street, (2) Shakti Nagar and (3) Nehru Place Branches.
(c) LUCKNOW - Charbagh Branch. (d) KOLKATA - College Street Branch.
(e) HYDERABAD - Hyderabad Main Branch (f) Pune Station Road Branch. (g) BHOPAL TT nagar Branch H) Jaipur DCM Branch.
By POST COST 1060/- (Rs. 660/- SC/ST) - Last date for Request 20th Feb.2007
By sending a written request(by Registered Post) to Office of the Director (PMT Cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi 221005 and a crossed Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque(MICR only) of a NATIONALIZED Bank, Drawn on The Director , Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU payable at Varanasi. (The material will be sent by SPEEDPOST/REGD POST )
Duly completed BHU PMT 2007 application form and the application fee must reach the office of the undersigned on or before 7/3/2007

CORRIGENDUM
ADMISSION NOTICE FOR MBBS COURSE – 2007
BHU will admit 25 (50% of total seats) students to B. Pharm course in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Institute of Technology, BHU, through PMT – 2007 (Screening) test. Any candidates who wants to be considered for B. Pharm course should submit a separate written request on plain paper alongwith completed OMR application form of BHU PMT 2007 (without stapling) in the prescribed envelope. BHU PMT 2007 conditions apply. This corrigendum alongwith detailed information for B. Pharm admission is available on the two websites www.bhuresults.nic.in and www.bhu.ac.in and it can also be obtained from PMT Cell, IMS, BHU (Ref. Adv. PRO / Advtg / 482 / dated 07.12.2006)
