Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes for the academic year 2010-2011

MD/MS degree/PG diploma

Post-graduate degree programmes (3 years)

MD: General medicine, Emergency medicine, Paediatrics, Anaesthesia, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radio diagnosis, Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community medicine, PMR

MS: General surgery, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Orthopaedics

Post-graduate diploma programmes (2 years)

D.C.H., D.A., D.G.O., D.Ortho, D.O., D.L.O., D.M.R.D., D.D.V.L., D.C.P., D.P.M.R.

MDS degree programmes (Master of dental surgery) 3 years

Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Oral Medicine and maxillofacial Radiology, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics

Eligibility

PG degree (MD/MS)/PG diploma programmes: candidates possessing MBBS degree or a university recognized as equivalent to the MBBS degree of Annamalai University and who have completed CRRI training on or before 30.04.2010

MDS degree programmes: Candidates possessing BDS degree of a university recognized as equivalent to the BDS degree of Annamalai university and who have completed CRRI training on or before 30.04.2010

Cost of application: MD/MS/PG diploma (including entrance examination fee) – Rs. 1000/-, MDS (including entrance examination fee) – Rs 1000/-

How to apply: Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Registrar, Annamalai university, Annamalainagar-608002 from 30.12.2009 onwards on payment of prescribed fee noted above in person (or) by sending a demand draft obtained on or after 30.12.2009 drawn in favour of the Registrar, Annamalai university, Annamalainagar from any bank payable at Chennai along with a self-addressed stamped thick kraft envelope of size 30 cm x 24 cm (stamps affixed to the value of Rs. 40/-) with the name of the programme for which the application is required should be superscribed boldly on the envelope. The name of the programme should be clearly indicated in the requisition letter. The name and address of the candidate and programme for which application is made should be clearly indicated on the back side of the demand draft also.

Issue of applications in the university cash counter only during working days (Holidays, Public holidays, all Saturday and Sundays)

MDS: 11.02.2010, 10.00 a.m./11.02.2010 a.n.
