AIPMT SOlved Question Papers and Test Preparation MCQ Practice CD

A common Entrance Examination will be conducted in selected centers in TAMIL NADU by the ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY for the candidates who intend to seek admission for the following SELF-FINANCING PROGRAMMES in The University for the Year 2008-2009.

  • M.B.B.S.

  • B.D.S

  • B.P.T.

  • B.Sc. (Nursing)

  • B. Pharm.

Appearing for the entrance Examination is COMPULSORY FOR CANDIDATES seeking Admission to these programmes. These Entrance Examination are for the Candidates to TAMILANADU and also OTHER STATES IN INDIA.  

 This Notification relates only to the ENTRANCE EXAMINATION Candidates are advised to refer to separate notification which will be governed by the procedure laid down by the University. .

Selection to various Programmes will be governed by the procedures laid down by the University.

 

GENERAL INSTURCTIONS: Candidates who are appearing for Higher Secondary Or Equivalent Qualifying Examinations during March- May 2008 and candidates who have already passed H.Sc Or Other Equivalent Qualifying Examinations are eligible to apply for these Entrance Examinations.

The Entrance Examinations will be conducted in the following scheduled and subjects.

Paper 1: Biology (Botany & Zoology):                            05.05.2008 (Forenoon)
Paper 2: Physical Sciences (Physics & Chemistry)        05.05.2008 (Afternoon)

** [Questions for the above examinations will be based only on the syllabi and test Books prescribed for the Second year of the Tamil Nadu H.Sc. (Academic) Course).

 

Admission will be made on the basis of Marks obtained in the relevant Subjects in the Qualifying Examination (H.Sc. Or Equivalent) and in the Entrance Examinations, besides an Interview to be conducted by the University. The Selection will be made on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in (i) Qualifying Examinations- 200, (ii) Entrance Examination- 100 and (iii) Interview – 30.

Last date for Issue of Application Forms:           02.04.2008
Last date for receipt of filled in Applications Forms:  09.04.2008

METHOD OF PAYMENT: Application form can be obtained IN PERSON by CASH payment at the University Cash Counter on all working Days. (Holidays: All Saturday, Sunday and Other Government Holidays).  

To get Application Forms by POST the candidate should send a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- The DEMAND DRAFT should be drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAIINAGAR- 608002 obtained on OR after 02.03.2008 from ANY BANK Payable at CHENNAI and a self-addressed KRAFT Envelope of size 35 cm x 15 cm with Stamps affixed to the value of the 15/-.

Candidates are advised to write their Name and Address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.

Application forms will be sent ONLY BY ORDINARY POST and the University will not be held responsible for non-receipt of application forms.

NOTE: Please quote the Reference Number of the Notification in the top of the Request latter without fail.
